Thanking God for what He has done

Here are a couple of pictures from a recent HigherTrek intensive (four sessions in one weekend) that 2022 alumni Dylan Curtsinger led in partnership with Ignite Campus Ministry at the University of Louisville. Most of the guys in this group started following Jesus within the past two years.

Friday night of the intensive, we opened a short teaching on discipleship by asking the guys about the Great Commission. None of them knew what it was, so we turned to Matthew 28 and started reading.

The main sessions included teachings on the Holy Spirit, overcoming laziness, and sexual purity. Please pray that God continues to work in each of these guys’ lives and we see spiritual growth and lasting change.

Praising God for what He will do

This is a picture of our first HigherTrek Kenya group that went through the video series back in February of this year. Some of you may remember that our Board Chairman, Alan Wells, and his wife, Cindy, went to help facilitate this group as well as a second Kenya group in April.

We are currently praying and raising support for a third group that will take place in western Kenya later this month! The local leader, Johnstone Ndunde, expects around 70 young men to be part of this upcoming group. Please join me in praying for these young men—future African leaders.
