Facilitator Training
Since discipleship is more than curriculum, we've created some short videos and best practices to help facilitators learn, establish, and maintain the HigherTrek group culture.
Sixteen episodes
The episodes are designed to address the struggles young men face as they transition into adulthood, while teaching the basics of walking with Christ for a lifetime.
Discussion Guides
HigherTrek is designed to be highly intentional, highly relational, and highly interactive. We view group discussion as an essential aspect of this experience.

FAQs

How long are the epsidoes?
Every episode is different but the average length is 26 minutes.
Am I too old?
Nope! We've found that, although our resources are created for 18-25 year olds, they can be helpful to men of all ages.
What is the best way to use this resource?
While there isn't any one way to use this, here are a few models we've seen work well:
  • Small Group - A small group of men gather to watch the episode, go over the discussion guide, and help each other grow.
  • Large Group - A large group of men gather to watch the episode and then split into small groups for discussion.
  • Retreat Sessions - Watch two or three episodes a day in a set apart location.

Small Groups generally consist of 1-2 facilitators and 3-8 participants.

Depends on how often you meet. We've seen groups meet daily, weekly, bi-weekly...So feel free do whatever works best for you and your group!
